2007 – Warner Music succumb to the Modern World
After a much touted deliberations, Warner Music Group, one of the last major music studios to refuse to sell music online without digital rights management copy protection, announces that it will begin offering songs in the MP3 format through Amazon.com.
2008 – Windows 7 Beta Leaked
An early version of Windows 7 Beta is leaked onto the internet via BitTorrent. Two days later, reviews will start to appear online.
