Malaysian Software Testing Board Goes into the Wild

Starting in 2009, the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu), the Government ICT agency brought in the Malaysian Software Testing Board (MSTB) as the independent software tester for a number of projects it was developing with third party’s. Microsoft to Patch Word Software Bug
“The exploit connects to a remote server (controlled by the attacker), downloads a file that contains HTML application content, and executes it as an .hta file”
A vulunuribility in Micirosoft Word is set to be patched next week after a number of users got in touch with the company about it. The security bug was first reported by McAfee. The vulnerability can bypass most exploit mitigations.
