Apple MacBook Issues Solved
“We learned that when testing battery life on Mac notebooks, Consumer Reports uses a hidden Safari setting for developing web sites which turns off the browser cache…. We have also fixed the bug uncovered in this test”
A report from Consumer Reports on the bug with Apple MacBooks that caused battery life to be extremely variable. The report found that the battery life was not reliable. The reason for the battery issues seems to relate to a bug in the Safari web browser. Read More about the Macbook bug here
MIT on Verge of Creating Bug Hunting Software

A quote from researcher Eran Yahav explaining the promise of Prophet, the software in development by MIT researchers. Prophet has been tested with a number of different bugs and seems to have coped well with the bugs that it could fix while recognising that it could not fix others. Read More here
88% UK Tech Companies Believe DevOps and Agile is “critical” to digital transformation
A recent report commissioned by CA Technologies found that the use of Agile and DevOps can have major benefits for company’s. The study Accelerating Velocity and Customer Value with Agile and DevOps garnered the views of 1,770 senior business and IT executives about their views on Agile and DevOps practices. The poll found that benefits of Agile included 42% improvement in speed to market, for advanced DevOps users compared to 24% for basic users and other interesting finders.
