    • Dynamic element locator
    • Conditional checks
    • Control structures
    • Easy assertions
    • Easy modification without redo
    • Reusable steps
    • Cross-browser support
    • Reporting
    • Ability to insert code
    • Continuous integration

    Test automation should have some of the following features :

    1. Cross – Browser Support
    2.  Resuable Steps
    3. Reporting
    4. Integration.

    The must-have feature for automation is the Language support. As in, it should support most of the coding languages. ( Java, Python, C#) and community support as well.
