I found this article on Programmer jargon phrases and it got me thinking about Tester jargon phrases. The article is quite funny and it mentions names for a number of different bugs. For example: Smug Report: A bug report submitted by a user who thinks he or she knows everything about a system, when he or she does not.
Hindenbug: A catastrophic, data-destroying bug.
Heisenbug: A play on “Heisenberg,” a principle in quantum mechanics, a Heisenbug is a bug that disappears or alters its characteristics when an attempt is made to study it.
So do you or your team have any witty names for bugs or some features that you come across regularly?
