Overheard from development lead: “We don’t need to worry about writing code for edge cases, because our test team is so good that if there are any problems, they’ll find them”
New testing manager: You do what??? Release software without properly testing it?? Are you lot insane? I want this testing team to be the best that it can be – I want this team to live and breath quality.

Tester: Hi, this functionality hasn’t been tested properly. Look at these test cases – nowhere near adequate enough.Testing manager: They look ok to me, lets release this software now.
