Wondering if anyone else in this group has had a history in games testing before moving in to “IT”? How have/did you find the transition and what hurdles and cultural changes have you had to overcome.
My story – I’ve had 17 years working for a leading publisher in the console sector and recently moved in to “IT” working for a consultancy/supplier company. I found it difficult to move straight in to IT test management (CV was getting me interviPew, but never getting the jobs) so have started as Test Analyst to get the experience and then hoping to get back in to test management ASAP.
