1999 – Apple Unveil PowerMac G4
Apple Computer unveils the PowerMac G4. The computer retails at $1599 with the system featuring 64MB RAM, a CD-ROM drive, and a 10GB hard disk. The computers were designed as personal supercomputers.
2006 – Google Image Labeler
Google launches the Google Image Labeler service, as a beta. The service allows users to label images to improve the quality of Google’s image search results.
