On Huddle over the next few weeks we have a number of exciting webinars coming up. All these testing webinars offer some tips for working in testing, whether that be working in Automation with AI in the CI/CD pipeline, trying to achieve Continuous testing with the use of AI or simply gaining some skills for the work environment including team management. Let’s take a closer look at some of the takeaways from these webinars and how they might benefit you as a tester.
Communication Skills from Elephants
The first of the testing webinars coming up is from Iris Pinkster-O’Riordain & Greet Burkels. They have taken a leaf out of David Attenborough’s book and have looked at the behaviour of elephants. They are looking at how some of these behaviours can be translated into practical use in the office.
Soft skills are very important for any work environment. They can be even more important when working remotely. In this webinar both Greet and Iris will share some tips that you can apply in the office in areas such as stakeholder management, lobbying, communication techniques for testers and team building. All of these skills that will prove useful for anyone to brush up on and you never know, you might learn something about elephants too. Find out more about the webinar here.
Large Scale Testing
Where do you start with testing a €7 million state-of-the-art bio-medical veterinary campus? Where do you end? There are just some of the questions that were faced by Christian Brødsjø & Bjørn Christian Schirmer who worked together on the building of a new Norwegian Veterinary Institute and Norwegian School of Veterinary Science campus.
This webinar will explore how they used some of the tools and methods from Agile methodology to successfully deliver such a project. Using real end-users to test software and “testing in construction” were some of the many challenges they faced. If you are involved in a large scale project or are just curious in how they managed such a big project, this is a webinar you should check out: Find out more.
Automation Powered by AI
Utilising the Continuous Delivery pipeline requires quick and responsive testing processes. How can you make it as efficient as possible?
Eran Bachar of Micro Focus will discuss just this in the upoming webinar on Huddle on 11th February. He will share some of the best practises in AI and intelligent test automation that can help a team deal with changes in a Continuous Delivery pipeline. This webinar will explore how AI can help increase reliability and reduce maintenance efforts. You can find out more about the webinar here.
