Cloudfare Bug Exposes Millions of Passwords
“I’ve informed Cloudflare what I’m working on. I’m finding private messages from major dating sites, full messages from a well-known chat service, online password manager data, frames from adult video sites, hotel bookings”
Tavis Ormandy, a member of Google’s Project Zero security team reveals the extent of the problems with the software bug in Cloudfare that could mean that passwords for sites like Fitbit, OKCupid, and Uber have been available for months if you know what to look for. 50,000 School Children’s Chromebooks Affected By Bug
“Anywhere upwards of 30% of those 50,000 Chromebooks are stuck in a state of flickering between a login screen and a ‘Network not available’ screen”

iPhone Shuting Down Bug Finally Resolved
“We’re seeing a more than 80% reduction in iPhone 6S and over 70% reduction on iPhone 6 of devices unexpectedly shutting down.”
The bug affted users of iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 models which caused the devices to shut down unexpectedly. The 30%bug as it was named had been public for a number of months before Apple admitted there was something wrong and issued a patch in the iOS 10.2.1 update. Read More about the 30% bug here
Robots are Not Bug Free
Security consultancy IOActive claimed last week to have discovered almost 50 vulnerabilities across components of major home and industrial robots. The robots include those made by Baxter and Sawyer, Rethink Robotics, SoftBank Robotics, UBTECH, Robotis and Universal Robots. The vulnurabilites mean that the robots could be easily hacked and taken over. Read More here
