2021 could be the year you become a conference speaker. Perhaps you are already speaking at meet-ups or the virtual world of 2020 helped you get used to being on-screen.
Join Fran O’Hara, Programme Chair of the 2021 EuroSTAR Software Testing Conference and experienced trainer for a live session on ‘How to become a conference speaker’.
Fran will share insights on what it’s like to be a speaker and why it is important to share your story. We learn from each other and over the past 28 years, the EuroSTAR community have come together to share their experiences and help each other grow.
Fran will also give advice on how to choose a topic to speak about. Each conference has a theme and this year at EuroSTAR, it is all about how you ‘engage’ with your team members, your stakeholders, technology itself and how we can be more inclusive.
We welcome and encourage submissions from all areas of testing and from all levels of speaker, from the most experienced to the newly starting out. Every tester has a story, a testing experience they’d like to share and the EuroSTAR audience want to hear YOUR story.
In this session, Fran will also give your guidance on how to approach a conference submission and how to improve your chances of getting on the EuroSTAR programme and other conferences in the testing world.
The EuroSTAR Software Testing Conference Call for Speakers is open from 7th Dec 2020 – 7th Feb 2021.
