The big German car manufactures are in a rush to catch up with Google in the race to bring self-drive cars to the market. The big problem being that there is alot to programme as noted by Professor Eric Feron, of Georgia Tech. Whereas the American fighter jet, the F-35 (which is nine years in development) contains between 5 million and 10 million lines of software code, a modern car could contain up to 100 million lines of code. Bug Hunter finds YouTube Vulnerability that allowed any YouTube user to delete any Video
Software Engineer and security researcher Kamil Hismatullin found one big bug on YouTube recently. Google announced recently a change to their programme for Bug Hunting. Instead the company are offering a Grant system for those bounty hunters you seek out bugs. The Vulnerability Research Grant program has seen it’s first success with Hismatullin assigned to find bugs in YouTube. Read More here.
