Testing for a Secure Digital Future

The main point of my research is that security testing has a large functional part that is not discussed in any forum. Nowadays, everything is code and about 85% of cybersecurity expoited weaknesses and vulnerabilities are related to those implementations. I think testers are the main barrier before a product release and we need to encorauge teams to make our products secure. My latest research is about using web testing as DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) feed, increasing the attack surface of this analysis and decreasing the complexity of using of this kind of tools. I have really good results on this research and the next step is about using AI on web scraping to easily detect vulnerabilities.

Cognitive Bias Radar

is a simple, flexible toolkit to help testers become more aware of how their thinking might be getting in the way. It’s not a checklist or a certification, it’s more like a mirror. It includes reflection prompts, bias reminders, and lightweight structures teams can drop into their exploratory sessions, retros, or even bug triage meetings. It’s meant for anyone who thinks seriously about testing; exploratory testers, quality coaches, even developers who test. The goal is to build habits of noticing: “Am I stuck in a pattern? Am I assuming too much? Am I ignoring signals that don’t fit my narrative?”

AI: Automated inclusivity, a public repository for Automation which emphasizes diversity & inclusivity

With A.I. “Automated inclusivity” my goal is to create a publicly accessible repository of inclusive test data and utility classes to generate inclusive test data. What is inclusive test data?
Data which takes cultural and country specific differences into account and Data which contains a representative distribution of gender, ethnicity and social-economic status. The problems it will address are:
– First and last names are not in the same format all over the globe
– Dates of birth might not be present for refugees
– Formats of addresses are very diverse around the globe.
– Datasets often contain more men than women and emphasize certain nationalities.

Intelligent Test-suit Generator

Our innovative idea aims to transform the way test suits are created by leveraging artificial intelligence to incorporate production-based scenarios. This groundbreaking approach is designed to benefit the testing community, particularly testing teams, quality assurance professionals, and software developers. By simulating real user behavior and integrating production like data and scenarios into test suites, our solution facilitates early issue identification, reduces missed defects and enhances use-case coverage through progression and regression.
