Huddle Poll | What Is The Best Method of How Testing Is Taught?

In recent weeks there has been the odd post on learning testing and teaching news skills in testing and how testing is taught. Testing is a unique profession as there are very few formal courses to become a software tester. So it begs the question, what way should those new to testing best learn the different skills needed for the role of tester. Is it in a classroom? Is it through an apprenticeship or is it some other method?

How Testing Is Taught?

What are the big questions in software testing? We want to answer that question. Each week on Huddle we share a poll on the big questions in Testing in our weekly Software Survey of Testers. You might feel a certain way about how many years it takes to become a good tester or you might have a certain opinion on ISO standards or testing problems but what are the opinions of others and how does your opinion fit into the thoughts of the software test.
