It can be a daunting task – picking what packaged software to purchase. Tim Koomen discusses the criteria used to make such a  selection and provides some hints and tips for test professionals, ensuring that they make the best possible choice. The presentation  was recorded as part of our EuroSTAR ‘Testing Time Outs’ mini-series at EuroSTAR 2010 in Copenhagen.

Biography

Tim is co-author of the books ‘TMap Next,’ ‘Test Process Improvement (TPI)’ and co-editor of ‘TMap Test Topics’.  The books have been published in several languages. Also, he regularly publishes an article on testing and presents  at conferences and training sessions, dealing with a many different test topics. In 2003 he received the European  Testing Excellence Award.
