Although there are many theoretical schools of learning in software testing, there are no central places to develop the relevant practical and technical skills to help us fulfill our testing roles. Here Adam presents some ideas on valuable sources of information and ideas on how we can develop our practical abilities and technical skill sets.

Biography

Adam Knight is a passionate software tester specialising in testing data storage and analysis software. He writes a blog at www.a-sisyphean-task.com and regularly attends testing meetups and events around the UK. His work at current employer, RainStor, using file driven acceptance test automation in an agile context was used as a case study in Gojko Adzic’s 2011 book on Specification by Example.
