Practices & Attitudes in Software Testing (PAST) is an independent study of how software testing professionals in Europe undertake their testing practices, examining how they currently approach testing and how they feel about the future development of their profession. Questions in the survey examined where testing and test automation was addressed in the life cycle, what testing certifications and qualifications were held and their perceived value and whether testing costs and value were effectively tracked and reported.
