Tim Berners-Lee introduces the world-wide-web and Sony release coloured memory cards for the PlayStation. All on today’s On This Day from TEST Huddle.

 

1991 – The World Wide Web is IntroducedTim Berners Lee

While working in CERN in Switzerland, Tim Berners-Lee introduces WorldWideWeb, the first web browser and WYSIWYG HTML editor, the foundations of the modern internet.

 

 

1998 – Sony introduce Coloured Memory CardsA Playstation memory card

Sony introduce new PlayStation memory cards in a variety of colours. These include black, candy orange, cherry red, crystal, emerald, gray, island blue, and lemon yellow. The momory cards come in 1Mb sizes.
