Is it a good idea to use beta version of browsers to check cross browser compatibility ??
Or should we always use the last released version.
what do you prefer w.r.t. your work experience.
Test what the users will run.
In a corporate context they may still run IE, not edge.
In a high-tech environment they might adopt the newest versions very fast.
When you checking cross browser compatibility, I believe you should test on both.. beta version and last released version.
