F-35 Testing AgainF-35 Lightning II instructor pilots conduct aerial refueling

Since it’s launch in December 2006, the F-35 has run into a large number of problems with testing. The U.S. Government Accountability Office has been reviewing the programme of development of the fighter jet and has found that further delays will cost about $1.7 billion. More Testing in Banking

Software testing services are in demand in sectors such as telecom, media, banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI), IT, and retail.”

A recently published report that stresses that banking and telecom will see the biggest increase in use of software testing in the next five years. This is all contained in a recent report “Global Software Testing Market 2017-2021” published by MarketResearchReports.biz. Testing is set to grow as a industry over the coming years. Air Force Bug Bounty Is LiveUS air force

This is the first time the AF has opened up our networks to such broad scrutiny…We have malicious hackers trying to get in to our systems every day. It will be nice to have friendly hackers taking a shot and, most importantly, showing us how to improve our cybersecurity and defense posture.

The U.S. Air Force has just announced a Bug Bounty programme. The programme will allow hackers to test its websites for vulnerabilities. Like other U.S Defence bug bounty programmes, the programme will be overseen by HackerOne. Read More here

 

Accenture Launches AI Based Platform

Software testing today still struggles with over-engineering efforts that can result in anywhere from 30 to 50 percent of wasted time and effort

Accenture has just launched a new platform for automated, analytics-driven software testing. The company had been conducting a number of pilot study’s with a number of clients around the world. The new platform combines open source, commercial and Accenture proprietary tools and algorithms. It will allow users to automate the testing process for software which will be guided by artificial intelligence. Read More here
