Got 5 minutes for our PAST Study?

Welcome to the first members of TEST Huddle – we are delighted that you have decided to participate in this new community! If you have about five minutes to spare, please take our survey on Practices & Attitudes in Software Testing.

The Practices & Attitudes in Software Testing (PAST) Study explores how software testing professionals undertake their roles and how testers feel about the future of their profession.

This will take place over two phases – the first of which is the brief survey. Before you start:

Some things to note before you take the survey:

1. The survey has 15 questions and typically takes no more than 5 minutes to complete.

2. All information gathered by EuroSTAR is confidential and individual responses will not be identifiable. Subsequent phases of the study which may request more sensitive information will be carried out anonymously.

3. We will be asking all respondents to this survey to commit to a more detailed study in the first quarter of 2014. This is a detailed look at how testing practices are currently undertaken and will require time to complete.

4. When responding to survey questions, please choose the answer that best reflects your current situation. If you feel choosing a particular response would be ambiguous or misleading, please skip it rather than committing to an answer that might skew the data.

5. If you are taking part in the study please take it seriously in the interests of data integrity and producing a meaningful report for the testing industry!

6. If you have any enquiries about this study, email [email protected]

Phase two of the study will take place later this year. Participants in the study will be entered into a draw to win a free place at the 2014 EuroSTAR Software Testing Conference.
