Hello, I’m Alexander Gyulai, currently the Director of Software Quality Assurance at Auto1 Group. I joined this dynamic company in 2016 as a QA Engineer and have since progressed to the director’s role, mirroring the company’s significant growth over these years.

My journey in the tech industry started nearly 15 years ago when I took on the role of a Software QA Engineer, which I initially considered as a temporary job. However, the fascinating world of technology captivated me, and I have been immersed in it ever since. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including enterprise document handling solutions and e-commerce. These experiences have not only honed my skills but also broadened my perspective on the potential of technology.

I am particularly enthusiastic about lean development, engineering productivity, and open-source software. Additionally, I have a keen interest in automation testing and tooling, which I believe significantly enhances team efficiency and the role of the QA engineer. I am a firm believer in the power of these elements to drive innovation and efficiency in the tech industry. I look forward to sharing my insights and learning from others at this conference.
