1969 – Welcome to The Internetinternet

UCLA issue a press release. introducing the world to the internet. A network of computers would be established in the coming months with a message sent over the ARPANET network in October becoming the first signs of the beginning of the internet.

 

 

 

1999 –  New Pacman World Recordpacman

Billy Mitchell (star of the documentary King of Kong) achieves a “perfect” score on the arcade version of Pacman at the Funspot Family Fun Center in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire. He achieves the score of 3,333,360 points, (the highest that the game allows)  playing  for over six hours.

 

 

 

 

2009 – McAffee creates Windows issuesmcafee

McAffee caused some issues for Windows users all over as a McAffee update  wipes out core files in the Windows system.
