2009 – The Internet numbers One Billion Unique Users
On This day in 2009, the marketing research firm comScore releases a report revealing that the number of unique internet users reached one billion in December 2008. On theses users, 41.3 percent of users resided in the Asia-Pacific region, 28 percent resided in Europe, 18.4 percent resided in the United States, and 7.4 percent resided in Latin America.
