Software Testing and Certification Centre For BangladeshBaglangdash Computer Council2

The main aim of establishing such a centre is to verify and validate software system in government offices, to create awareness and elevate the software testing industry in the country

The Indian Government has announced that they intend to establish a Software Quality Testing and Certification (SQTC) Centre in the coming years. The Centre is being established at the Bangladesh Computer Council. Read More here

 

 

‘Bad Rabbit’ Out in The Wildbad-rabbit-ransomware-featured

The ransomware has been targeting organisations and consumers, mostly in Russia but there have also been reports of victims in Ukraine, Turkey and Germany

New ransomware called ‘Bad Rabbit’ is out in the wild. ‘Bad Rabbit’ has been targeting a number of organisations and computer users in eastern Europe. The ransomware has been highlighted by Kaspersky Lab, a internet security company. Read More here

 

 

Google to pay $1,000 For Critical Software BugsGoogle-logo

The scope of this program is limited to RCE (remote-code-execution) vulnerabilities and corresponding POCs (Proof of concepts) that work on Android 4.4 devices and higher.”

Google has announced that it will increase its bug bounty programme payout and scope. The company has expanded the bug bounty programme to include third-party apps and increased payouts to $1,000 for bugs found. Read More here

 

 

Microsoft and Google go tit-for-tat in bug war!Microsoft

We responsibly disclosed the vulnerability that we discovered along with a reliable remote code execution exploit to Google on September 14, 2017

After Google disclosed a bug in Microsoft software last year, the company has responded with news that it has found a bug in Chrome. It revealed that it found the bug and disclosed privately to Google rather than publicly announcing it. Read More here
